Ok, some models come pre-Photoshopped, Shelby comes pre-Photoshopped, Lightroomed, OnOned and she most likely has an inbuilt plugin for whichever editing system you favour. She has that &quotmodel&quot appear that &quotmodels&quot seldom have. So you engage in a shoot where you end up continuously moving, checking your camera, fiddling with the lighting, hunting for help from your fellow photographer (none comes back) because you are acquiring fantastic photo soon after fantastic photo and something seems incorrect.

She is 20 years old, but she holds herself like a film star, with a appear that is so contextual in front of the camera as if she is marketing perfume or one thing. She is a great laugh, funny as hell but able to move into significant mode in an immediate. We got some great images and I hope you like them as considerably as I do.

Year Taken – 2010
Camera – Nikon D700
Lens – Nikon 50mm f/1.4G

Ellie was 19 years old at the time of this shoot, and in the running for Miss UK Earth. She is very tall, specially in heels and has the posture of a would-be supermodel. She has a way of seeking into the camera as if she is looking at you, and the thoughts and feelings inside her come proper to the surface right away. I dont think I could have picked anybody far better to begin my model photography journey with, and we stay buddies to this day.
This was my 1st of three shoots with her more than a three month period, and by far the ideal images came from it. To be sincere, it was my very first real photo shoot with an actual model, as oppose to somebody who just wanted a handful of images taken. We have been joined for the day with Mark, a friend of Ellies who also wanted some photos taken. He was a beautiful guy and it was his very first appropriate photo shoot too. The three of us spent literally all day collectively, interspersing photographs with coffee breaks and ultimately wound issues up around 8pm.

I didn’t have any lighting at this time, so all images with Ellie were taken with absolutely nothing far more than an onboard camera flash and all-natural light. The backdrop was either the front room wall or the bedroom!

Most of the images have been edited with nothing at all a lot more than Photoshop CS4. I tried to give the images a slightly warm tone by boosting the saturation in the yellow and red channels, while playing with the levels to get a slightly high-important really feel to them. Back in these days, I was obsessed with high-crucial and think it was my way of disguising what were reasonably ordinary images .
