Ellie

Ellie was 19 years old at the time of this shoot, and in the operating for Miss UK Earth. She is really tall, specifically in heels and has the posture of a would-be supermodel. She has a way of searching into the camera as if she is hunting at you, and the thoughts and feelings inside her come correct to the surface immediately. I dont think I could have picked any person greater to begin my model photography journey with, and we stay buddies to this day.
This was my very first of three shoots with her more than a three month period, and by far the very best pictures came from it. To be truthful, it was my initial true photo shoot with an actual model, as oppose to someone who just wanted a few pictures taken. We have been joined for the day with Mark, a buddy of Ellies who also wanted some pictures taken. He was a lovely guy and it was his initial suitable photo shoot too. The three of us spent actually all day together, interspersing photographs with coffee breaks and ultimately wound items up around 8pm.

Lighting

I didn’t have any lighting at this time, so all pictures with Ellie had been taken with nothing at all a lot more than an onboard camera flash and natural light. The backdrop was either the front area wall or the bedroom!

Processing

Most of the pictures were edited with practically nothing a lot more than Photoshop CS4. I attempted to give the images a slightly warm tone by boosting the saturation in the yellow and red channels, whilst playing with the levels to get a slightly higher-important feel to them. Back in these days, I was obsessed with higher-essential and believe it was my way of disguising what had been reasonably ordinary pictures .

Jade

Meet Jade, the daughter of a buddy of mine and professional make-up artist. What can I say about Jade? She exudes a relaxed, sultry and all-natural appear in each photo she helps develop, exactly where nothing at all looks contrived nor forced. Working with her is a pleasure as, as Im sure you can see in this photo, each moment captured looks like a stolen moment from anything but a photo shoot. She has a all-natural beauty that far surpasses any of the other models Ive worked with, hunting like somebody you may well actually meet as oppose to somebody you would appear at in a photo. She is absolutely stunningly desirable, with a stunning figure and a character that just makes you want to get to know her a lot more and a lot more. We had fantastic entertaining on the shoot (my second with her) and I cant wait to perform with her once more.

Elizabeth

Do you know that its actually feasible to work with somebody too fairly? This is Elizabeth and when I met her nowadays, I was particular that I wouldnt get a single shot that was as quite as she in fact is. She is 19 years old and has such organic beauty that she comes pre-Photoshopped and in all honesty, it makes life tougher! Some models you look at and you know what will suit them, what wont, and you perform to that. You hide their flaws, you emphasise their beauty and you bring out the greatest of them and afterwards, you can appear back and feel proud of yourself. With Elizabeth, it doesnt matter what angle you shoot, what f-quit, what lighting – she appears excellent, and I dont like that :). The other annoying point to consider is she isnt even a model, she is a make-up artist!!!

Lighting

This is a quite basic a single light setup, where a massive beauty dish is positioned just to my proper so the light is shot from a single path across Elizabeth. This kind of lighting causes that harsh shadow on the wall behind her and the much more you move the light, the much more the shadow moves also.
