Ok, so more than the next few days/weeks, I will be uploading my final publishable pictures of Rosie. These are the ones that either I wasn’t too fond of, had been also equivalent to other ones, or ones I purely missed. In total, I have over 10,000 images of Rosie, taken more than 4 separate shoots. I think I must have uploaded at least 300 of her so far, there are possibly one more 100 or so to come. But, like I say, these are the B-grade pictures :).

I have just been by way of the images from the very first shoot and have picked out about 25 that I could do one thing with. More than the coming days, you will see them all.

Decided nowadays to do some low ISO perform with the new Sony A7R. So far, all the stuff Ive carried out has been at ISO 3200 and above, so I wondered just how sharp and contrasty the camera would be with the Zeiss lenses at decrease ISO’s. Throwing in a bit of studio light as fill, but also utilizing natural light as the major supply, I managed to get these photos.

So this is Nicole. She is only just 18 years old and this was her very first ever photoshoot. Usually, when you perform with an individual on their 1st shoot, its a disaster. They have no thought on how to look all-natural and the images are clunky and awkward. This was NOT the case with young Nicole.

She is a beautiful girl. Incredibly tiny (5ft 2ins or about 1 meter in foreign :)) and she does appear very young. Nevertheless, her modelling is first class. I wanted her to appear organic, candid, and this is the hardest sort of modelling for anybody. She is such a fairly girl, and fantastic entertaining to operate with. She has a cute, fresh look that you never uncover as well frequently in models and only generally see in girls who don’t model. She was relaxed, funny and seemed to lose herself to thought which was wonderful for the sort of images I like to capture.

Fantastic big window above Nicole and a soft box, head height, four feet away to the left.

Clyde
Cat Tattoos

This is my (strictly) outside kitty, Clyde. Check out her (strictly) outdoors surroundings (my spare bedroom and the warm comforter, sitting in the afternoon soon. Such a rough life).

*Background: Clyde is a girl (I did not name her). Despite the fact that she is really furry, she is teeny tiny- about 4 lbs., and timid as hell about any person but me. I’ve been taking care of her for 9 years. A former neighbor &quotdumped&quot her. She made her way to my property (due to the fact I have that enormous SUCKER tattoo plastered across my forehead). I produced her keep outdoors (in extremely protective shelter) till about 3 years ago, when I began permitting her to sleep in the laundry room at evening, for the duration of the winters. Now, because she is receiving older and due to the fact two months ago she was very ill and I needed to keep a closer eye on her, I let her to sleep in the spare bedroom each night (although some nights, she refuses to even come inside – she has, for most of her life, been an outside cat and that is what she is used to.) My other two cats have turn into accustomed to her getting about the home, but do not like it. (Esp. Coco – the jealous one.) I love this cat, but the only factor I don’t like: in the spring/summer, she mutilates birds and child bunnies and brings them to my patio door. Not each day, but ugh! Also numerous times. I understand it really is a cat’s nature to hunt, but that does not imply I have to like it. She had to survive on her personal for a although when she was dumped, so it really is just component of who she is. I want I could get a close-up of her eyes. They are beautifully green, with deep blue correct in the middle. She hates the camera- I was fortunate to get this shot.
