"Basically here’s the background behind my tattoo. My mom loves nature and wildlife but regrettably there’s not considerably here in Singapore – so I decided to dedicate this tattoo to her. Essentially I was hunting for an animal which fell under these categories: watched more than you/had a watchful eye, represented freedom, and had some relevance to my family members. Expanding up in Canada, It was widespread to see hawks and eagles flying about above our house in Kamloops, British Columbia. So I decided to get two hawks. The bottom one to represent my Mom and the prime one to represent my Dad. Although I have two years till I leave to college, I’m spending two months away from my parents for the 1st time. I got this so that they’ll be with me at all occasions for the rest of my life." – Meghna Lall

Strobist: One particular studio strobe camera higher left via honey comb grid and second diffused strobe to light the physique.
The dead space to the left and the blown highlights on the body are deliberate artistic options I made to attempt convey the mood I wanted

Jungle City Edinburgh 024

I really like this one! Although I am slightly confused by the little individual (the younger sibling of Fantasy Island’s Tattoo?) on the tiger’s back – the face and sideburns hint at it getting male, but look closely at the waistcoat best and looks like there are breasts, so presumably female?
These are all element of the Jungle City organisation, which is debuting in Edinburgh for a couple of months and will move to different cities about the planet. There are statues all decorated by diverse artists all over the spot (there is a map on the internet site), small versions are accessible to acquire as are the actual full size statues, to raise income for wildlife charities and to raise awarness of some of the magnificent species we’re endangering
